Contact the Editor
We welcome your observations, corrections, and questions. Every report helps us improve the catalogue for all readers. Below are the most useful reasons to write, along with guidance on what to include so that we can act promptly and accurately.
When to write
Metadata corrections
If you notice an incorrect title, author attribution, publication date, or category placement, please let us know. For example, a book placed under “Young Readers & Adventures: Texts & Context” that belongs under “World Events in Context: Sources & Perspectives” should be flagged. We rely on attentive readers to keep our records reliable. Even small details—such as a misspelled name or a missing subtitle—are worth reporting.
File and reader issues
If an ebook does not open, displays garbled text, or fails to render properly on your device or browser, describe the problem. Include the file format you are using (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, etc.), the device or browser model, and the exact behaviour you observe. Unreadable files and persistent reader failures are our highest priority. For example, if a poem’s line breaks are lost in the EPUB version, or if images fail to load in the PDF, that kind of detail helps us reproduce and fix the issue.
Accessibility problems
We aim to make our catalogue usable by everyone. If you encounter a barrier—such as missing alt text on images, poor contrast, or screen‑reader incompatibility—please report it. Your feedback helps us make the collection more inclusive. For instance, if a reading note uses complex tables that are not navigable with a keyboard, we want to know.
Privacy questions
If you have questions about how we handle personal data, or wish to exercise any rights you may have under applicable law, write to us. We take your privacy seriously. We do not share or sell your information, and we retain only what is necessary for correspondence.
Copyright or rights concerns
Although we curate works that are believed to be in the public domain in many jurisdictions, copyright laws vary. If you believe a title infringes your rights or those of another, please provide supporting information so that we can review the matter. We treat such reports confidentially and respond as quickly as possible.
General editorial observations
We also appreciate thoughtful comments about the catalogue’s scope, the reading notes, or the thematic categories. Whether you have a suggestion for a new category or a note on an existing edition, we are glad to hear it. For instance, if you think “Caroling dusk — Themes and Context” would benefit from a companion piece, or if you have spotted a connection between two works in different categories, we welcome your insight.
What to include in your message
To help us respond efficiently, please include as many of the following details as are relevant:
- The exact page URL where the issue appears.
- The ebook title and, if known, the author or editor.
- The file format you are using (e.g., EPUB, PDF, HTML).
- The device, operating system, and browser (including version) you were using.
- A clear description of the observed problem—what you expected and what actually happened.
- For rights concerns, any supporting documentation or legal context you can provide.
