Around 45 firefighters responded to a blaze in a commercial bulding inside the Rockville Central Autobody shop, located in the 7300 block of Westmore Road on Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out near an interior paint booth and its ventilation system, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Pete Piringer. Other than smoke, there was no extension of the fire into the ventilation system.

After managing the fire, MCFRS cleared the rest of the smoke from the building.

No injuries were reported.
